"I can take you many places. Introduce you to unforgettable people in different situations. You can have a front row seat in their lives and feel what they feel. Know what they know. Let me tell you a story....."
Commercial and TV Narration.
Hi! Ni hao. I'm an Asian American narrator who loves to tell a story. My voice has been described as smooth, distinctive and engaging, all with a bit of texture. I bring characters to life with a sincere performance and an array of international and domestic accents. Listeners have praised my ability to skillfully draw you into the story. From my home studio, I've narrated over 100 audiobooks in nearly every genre under my name and my pseudonym. Audible Studios, Blackstone, Brilliance Audio, Dreamscape, Harper Audio, Penguin Random House and Simon & Schuster are among some of the industry publishers I work with, as well as award winning and nationally bestselling authors. Born in Taiwan, I speak Mandarin and am often cast in books with other Asian languages as well. When outside of the booth, I'm usually working in my garden, watching a horror/thriller movie or prepping my next book. I'm a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Professional Audiobook Narrators Association and Audio Publishers Association.

"Caroline McLaughlin makes the most of this romp through a wedding day, told through the eyes of Auntie Xue, an ambitious, exasperated mother who is also the matriarch of her neighborhood. Fans of Chinese fiction will find much to admire as McLaughlin sets an energetic pace for a story filled with colorful characters and their slightly manic antics. Listeners are taken back to the years just after the Cultural Revolution, and the reawakening of Chinese society is another bonus in these stories of everyday life. Told with gusto, this is a fun listening experience".
