About Me
I’m an Asian American narrator who loves to tell a great story. My voice has been described as smooth, distinctive, and engaging, with just a touch of texture. I bring characters to life with sincere, nuanced performances and a wide range of international and domestic accents.
Listeners have praised my ability to draw them into a story and make them feel as though they have a front-row seat in the lives of the characters—to know what they know, feel what they feel, and travel wherever the story takes them.
From my professional home studio, I’ve narrated more than 130 audiobooks across nearly every genre, working under both my own name and a pseudonym. I’ve had the pleasure of narrating for publishers and independent authors alike, and I value the creative process and collaboration that bring each book from the page to the listener.
Born in Taiwan, I speak Mandarin and am frequently cast in stories featuring Asian characters, cultures, and languages. Whether the story is intimate or sweeping, contemporary or historical, my goal is always the same: to create an authentic, engaging performance that invites listeners in—and keeps them there.
When outside of the booth, I'm usually working in my garden, watching a horror/thriller movie or prepping my next book. I'm a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Professional Audiobook Narrators Association and Audio Publishers Association.

"Caroline McLaughlin helps listeners keep up with shifting settings and characters in this ambitious intergenerational novel about war, love, loss and memory. She shows off her versatility while taking on a wide range of female characters. Fans of international literature will find much to admire. Most of the story unfolds at a key moment in Chinese modern history that is likely to be unfamiliar to many. McLaughlin's delivery provides insights on both the history and personalities involved".
