About Me
Whats New

Hi!  Ni hao. I'm an Asian American narrator who loves to tell a story.  My voice has been described as smooth, distinctive and engaging, all with a bit of texture.  I bring characters to life with a sincere performance and an array of international and domestic accents.   Listeners have praised my ability to skillfully draw you into the story. From my home studio, I've narrated over 120 audiobooks in nearly every genre under my name and my pseudonym.  Audible Studios, Blackstone, Brilliance Audio, Dreamscape, Harper Audio, Penguin Random House and  Simon & Schuster  are among some of the industry publishers I work with, as well as award winning and nationally bestselling authors.  Born in Taiwan, I speak Mandarin and am often cast in books with other Asian languages as well.  When outside of the booth, I'm usually working in my garden, watching a horror/thriller movie or prepping my next book. I'm a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Professional Audiobook Narrators Association and Audio Publishers Association.

"Caroline McLaughlin helps listeners keep up with shifting settings and characters in this ambitious intergenerational novel about war, love, loss and memory. She shows off her versatility while taking on a wide range of female characters. Fans of international literature will find much to admire. Most of the story unfolds at a key moment in Chinese modern history that is likely to be unfamiliar to many. McLaughlin's delivery provides insights on both the history and personalities involved".
